Dose Information from TLD DOSIMETER
This TLD calculates dose at three tissue depths which correspond to the deep, shallow, and lens of the eye depths that are required by 10 CFR 20 regulations. It is an excellent dosimeter for nearly all medical and industrial radiation environments.

Deep Dose Equivalent which applies to external whole body exposure and is the dose equivalent at a tissue depth of 1 centimetre (1000 mg/cm²). Dose in millisieverts is reported for photon energies from approximately 10 keV to 6 MeV. Neutron dose is included if present.

Eye Dose Equivalent which applies to the external exposure to the lens of the eye and is the dose equivalent at a tissue depth of 0.3 centimetres (300 mg/cm²). It includes dose in millisieverts for beta particles and photons. Neutron dose is included if present.

Shallow Dose Equivalent which applies to the external exposure of the skin or an extremity and is the dose equivalent at a tissue depth of 0.007 centimetres (7 mg/cm²) averaged over an area of 1 square centimetre. It includes dose in millisieverts for beta particles and photons. Extremity doses are reported in this column based on 662 keV photons unless other energy or radiation source information is available. Neutron dose is included if present.
